Register now and save for the 2008 Nursery & Garden Industry Australia National Conference

It's time to book for the 2008 Nursery & Garden Industry Australia National Conference & Exhibition and take advantage of the special on-line pre-program rate of $695 available to members only.

Gardens are a place where households, business and government can do their bit to reduce global pollution and climate change.

“As an industry, we can lead the way and position ourselves at the forefront of this debate, change the public perception of gardens and prove the nursery and garden industry is essential for the long term health of Australia and Australians”, said Jenny Lambert, CEO Nursery & Garden Industry Australia .

The theme for the 2008 conference – Seachange for an essential industry - aims to examine who and what influence the different tiers of governments and how media can shape their decisions. It will also consider the impact of these decisions on public perception, the economy and our industry.

“By its very nature, our industry demonstrates its commitment to the environment every day.”

Some great speakers are being planned to inform and inspire conference delegates, including Robert Gottliebsen, one of Australia's most prominent business writers and commentators, Dr Will Healy from the U.S. talking about worldwide trends for retail and production and Dr Wendy Craik of the Murray Darling Basin Commission and Debra Templar who will be your Conference MC.

Also included in the program are technical sessions for retail and production which take a closer look at the specific needs of these sectors.
